We started the morning off by singing happy birthday to Tatiana! We were missing our captain Anna, but knew we had to bring our A game to win for her. We started with a solid first quarter and 100% shooting stats, winning 12-9. We carried on strong and won the second quarter 14-8 after some great tips from defence, and went into half time 26-17 up. A few changes were made on both sides going into the third quarter and we had a few forced errors, we hung onto a lead winning that quarter 12-11. We came into the last quarter with tired legs the whole team dug deep and pulled away even further! A fantastic game with Swan winning 49-36! The defensive training session 2 days before really showed on court today with many players getting interceptions and turning over the game play.
